1. Provider submits screning information about the health and safety issues present at their facility.
2. LIIF reviews this information and works with the provider to learn more about their urgent facility needs.
3. Screening information is reviewed by First 5 Alameda. Providers may be invited to submit a full application for funds from the Early Childhood Facilities Fund (ECFF).
4. Selected providers submit their ECFF application for final review by First 5 Alameda.
5. If approved, providers sign a grant agreement and receive their ECFF award to begin the approved projects.
6. Providers submit information on their projects on an ongoing basis, including reports on progress and how their funds we used.
Please note: Information for providers not selected to submit a full ECFF application will be maintained so that, in the event of additional funding becoming available, they may have the opportunity to request funding.
