  • Is there a limit on the applications?

  • Can large license family child care providers apply for this grant? Would FCC providers with a large license but wish to expand their current space to better accommodate 14 children, be able to take advantage of this major renovation grant?
  • Will applications be assessed and evaluated on an ongoing rolling basis or after the deadline has passed?
  • If the provider lost their facility due to natural disaster they are no longer licensed. How do they apply if they are no longer licensed?

  • If a provider has been offering non-licensed childcare, and is looking to become licensed but needs funding, are they eligible for this grant?
  • What does "meet experience and tenure requirements of being in operation on or before 8/1/21" mean?
  • How can programs learn more information about Prevailing Wages?
  • RFA 2 says that programs need to have been licensed on or before August 1, 2021 to qualify for the grant. Does this mean that anyone licensed after that date does NOT qualify?
  • During construction, can programs keep their facility open while the children are present?
