Welcome to Submittable Navigation. This will be a quick overview of using Submittable to communicate with your Program Officer and attaching documents. First, let's go and log in to Submittable.com. Here you will enter your email and password.
If you've forgotten your password, you can click here on the word “forgot?” and follow the instructions to reset your password. Once you are into your account, you will see your submissions here.
Most of you will have one grant. If you have applied for an earlier grant, such as the LA COVID grant, you may see that here as well.
Make sure that you are looking at RFA 1. You can click here, this is either your name or your business name.
You'll come to this page which has four tabs; Activity, Messages, Forms, and Note.
Here on Activities, you'll be able to see actions related to your grant. Let’s go to the next tab: Messages.
You will be able to see a complete history of the emails sent to you and that you have sent. You can either click reply to respond to an email or to send a new question to that sender.
Use New Message to start an email to a new sender or start a new conversation. You will see a window pop up. It will autofill your name and go to the last person you have sent an email to.
Here is where you will type in the subject line and then your message goes here.
There will be times when you will need to attach files, such as a spreadsheet or a copy of a receipt.
You can do so by clicking here on this icon that says Attach files or drag and drop here. Once you click on this button, another window will pop up and you'll need to navigate to wherever you have your files stored for the grant. Once you have attached all your files, click Send.
Here we have next tab called Forms. You can review your grant application. The grant application is closed and can’t be edited.
The next tab is Note, and as the name implies, it is where you can add a note to yourself. You can click on this button after which another window will pop up and you can write a note to yourself in here.
Perhaps I want to document the name of my program officer and next action steps I’ll click save and now I can refer to this note any time.
Let’s quickly wrap up.
- Submittable will be used to email important information and to send and receive documents related to your grant.
- You can always go to your personal email account and send a reply from the last message that was sent by the program officer assigned to you. This may be an easier way for you to message with the program officer assigned to you.
- Additionally, please make sure to check your spam or junk email account. If you find one of our messages in those accounts, please make sure to add Low Income Investment Fund to your contacts and address book.
And lastly, as always, thank you so much for all that you do.
