Homeownership is not a requirement; applicants may rent or own. Written permission from the owner or landlord is required for new construction or major construction. Grantees have a 2-year service requirement, which states, the funded site must provide child care services for 2 years following full execution of the Grant Agreement between CDSS and the Applicant.
